Are you ready to compete at the highest level of social dancing?
Join us for the ultimate Social Dance Competition at the QuieroBailar BachataAmor Festival!

1. To participate, you must hold either:

A Full Pass, or
A Party Pass for the QuieroBailar BachataAmor Festival

2. Competition Entry Fee: 15 EUR

3. How to Enter:

Fill out the Registration Form
You’ll receive a confirmation email
Then, you’ll receive payment instructions to complete your entry

4. Important:
Single-day passes or individual party passes do not qualify for competition entry.

Registration

First round scoring

Round 1: The judges gives points to each participants with a 1, 0.5 or 0. Persons with a top points will be moving to Semi Finals.
Depends on the criteria 10 – 15 leader and 10 – 15 followers will be selected for Semi Finals.

Semi finals scoring

Round 2: The judges will be given points based on the below Criteria,
– Leading & Following (1-6).
– Asthetics and Visual art movement (1-3).
– Musicality (1-3).
– Interaction with a Partner (1-3).
Depending on the criteria the Highest points 4 Leader and 4 followers will be selected for Finals.
Participants can vote for 3 of the best partners, which later receive additional score.

Final round scoring

Round 3: The judges will be dancing with the Finalists Leader Judges with Follower finalists and Follower judges with the Leader Finalists.
Judges will point based on the same criteria as semi-finals which will decide on the 1st , 2nd and 3rd place of the Berlin Social Competition.
Participants can vote for 3 of the best partners, which later receive additional score.

First round

Round 1: All dancers perform simultaneously with different partners, judged individually by roaming judges.

Semi finals round

Round 2: A judges’ table is introduced, with the audience seated on the sides and back.Dancers perform in pairs alphabetically, changing partners frequently while dancing both an open and a competition music.

Final round

Dancers perform with the judges on the stage, showcasing their skills in front of an expert panel.
It provides an opportunity for dancers to demonstrate their ability to adapt and excel, dancing alongside experienced judges who evaluate their technique, creativity, and interaction.

First round results

Results will be announced (Around 17:00 – 19:00).

Semi finals results

Results will be announced during the Finals at Saturday Party (Around 00:00 – 00:15).
Request all Semi Finalist to be present during the Finals for result announcement.

Final round results

Final results will be announced at Saturday night party (Around 00:30 – 01:00).

Leading & Following

Judges evaluate the dancers’ ability to seamlessly lead and follow, ensuring a fluid and connected performance.

Aesthetics and Visual Art Movements

The visual appeal and artistic expression of movements are assessed, highlighting the beauty and creativity in the dance.

Musicality

Dancers are judged on their ability to interpret and synchronize with the music, demonstrating rhythm and timing.

Interaction with Partner

The connection and interaction between partners are evaluated, focusing on chemistry and coordination.
